After waiting for five years for "Mission Impossible", the higher my expectations, the greater my disappointment. Throughout the entire viewing, I was in a state of extreme anger. As one of my favorite series, I cannot accept it becoming what it is now. The carefully constructed world view and emotional connections have come to an abrupt end. The action scenes are like child's play, all the characters have become tools, the resolute and determined White Widow has become a ridiculous supporting role. It is absurd and unnecessary to kill Ilsa. She is the most three-dimensional and emotionally consistent female lead in the series. She even sought approval and entrusted Ethan to Julia, but she was killed in such a stupid and senseless manner???? I can accept her death, but not in such a careless and inexplicable way!!!! Ethan, who has just met a thief who only knows how to dig holes for two days, has a deep and affectionate interaction. This forced promotion of the female lead is too obvious.
The next installment is still in the works. I hope they can bring back a strong and cool female lead. If not, just kill off Ethan.
