🍿 Film and Television#
CC Annual Live Performance: "Les Misérables Musical" Highly recommended!
The strongest cast in London's West End, vivid stage design, and highly infectious music together present an audiovisual feast exploring eternal themes such as love, sacrifice, and redemption. I can't express the intense shock I felt being there; it's already on my list of things to rewatch.
CC Annual Series: "The Silent Truth" Strongly recommended!
"In three timelines, they all chose to move forward."
I think, if they exist, I can also become a little braver.
CC Annual Movie: "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3"
The best after "Avengers: Endgame," this is the Marvel I know.

CC Annual Book: "Flowers for Algernon"
Darkness is not scary; what’s scary is returning to darkness after experiencing light.
🕹️ Good Stuff#
CC Annual Good Stuff: Skateboard
The first land paddleboard, preparing for surfing and skiing.
Also, some of my favorite items used this year:
- Jersey: Totally worth it.
- Grizzly Bear: Who doesn't love a graduation bear?
- Automatic Mahjong Machine: Relieved my limping and study pressure, thanks to Yuzi.
- Crutch: Helps me walk and hit people.
- JBL🎤: I love singing so much; the Scottish equipment is too outdated, so I spent a lot to ship it from home. Now I just shout a few notes when I have nothing to do.
- Monitor and gaming chair: Essential for meeting deadlines, but unfortunately, Singapore's are not as good as the UK's.
- Lancôme Absolue series + black bandage + ice cream mask: Recommended by Nanzi, really keeps my skin in a relatively stable condition (except when writing papers 🙄).

I’m not really into games, but since I couldn't move due to an injury, I could only play games, and then, the PS5 is really nice! 😄
🧸 Life#
🏡 Food and Living#
The food in the UK is horrendously bad, but fortunately, friends often rescue me.
When I returned home, I ate a lot, only to sadly find that my stomach couldn't handle any night markets or spiciness anymore. 😭
But I still recommend the hotpot from Sichuan and Chongqing and the lamb skewers from Xinjiang; they are no longer the same species as what I usually eat (Nan sister specifically brought a sheep, and I drank eight bowls of lamb soup that day).
The food in Singapore is mediocre, but the apartment facilities are excellent; I lift weights and swim every day before skateboarding.
🛫 Travel#
I definitely couldn't move for the first few months, only able to hop around; the reason can be seen at https://justcc.xlog.app/studying-abroad-knee.
After recovery, I still went to quite a few places.
Drove roughly through Turkey.

The happiest thing is that my mom came to the UK; I ate her cooking and took her around to play.
Did yoga at the entrance of Downton Abbey. 😂
After submitting my thesis, I went to Europe.
Returned home to find friends along the route to eat, drink, and play.
🌌 Memorable Daily Life#
New Year's Eve in the Paris emergency room.
Birthday surprise.
This year I went to many concerts, and accompanying Zhenzi to see Jonathan Lee was the most surprising; I sang along the whole time, hyped to the max.
Saw my brother.
Beach bonfire.
Took wedding photos on campus.
Went to see pandas and got bitten like this.
One meeting, one chance.
"Secret Love in Peach Blossom Land" nostalgia forever.
The process was tortuous but I graduated smoothly and even received a Distinction.
Attended the graduation ceremony.
Clothes and newspapers with my name printed on them.
🏊 Skills#
Skateboarding: Just starting, can glide simply; the coach said I can learn tricks next, excited! ٩(๑>◡<๑)۶
Rock Climbing: Introduced by Nanzi, I experienced the fun while giving it my all.
Hiking: Recommended by Zhenzi; I didn't expect practice to be Harry.
Lastly, I must say, how can walking with crutches not be considered a skill?

Made a group of close friends in a foreign land.
🐱 Family#
Returned home for a wedding.
All love is an adventure, so let’s willingly wait for all the suspense in life.
I’m not very fond of such formalities, so I didn’t notify many friends, but the closest ones always give me unexpected surprises: Xiaoyu rushed over after a night shift, Awen drove for hours to suddenly appear, and Nan sister had been saving vacation days for a long time; Zhenzhen had to change cars several times...
The remaining two will go back to take photos with them.
🎊 2024#
- Go to the U.S. to see Broadway and a basketball game.
- Go skiing in Xinjiang and soak in Harbin.
- Gradually try surfing and snowboarding based on skateboarding.
- Learn a new musical instrument.
- Pick up Taekwondo again.
- Progress in English medical coding.
- Snag concert tickets. 🙄
